Zebulon Library Memorial Garden
This peaceful retreat, located behind the Zebulon Community Library, has been an ongoing project since 2003; it was established in honor of our member Laurie Giles with plants she loved. In 2021, we expanded the garden in memory of Fran Johnson, adding flowers and plants from her personal collection.

Zebulon Library Children’s Garden
When the Zebulon Community Library received a grant from The Bee Cause Project, we had a blast helping local children and teens plant pollinator flowers! We also hosted a program on the importance of bees to humans and nature. Be sure to check out this beautiful garden right outside the Zebulon Community Library windows.

Floral Arrangement at the Zebulon CommunityLibrary
Since 1998, our members have volunteered their time and creativity to provide beautiful seasonal floral arrangements for the Zebulon Community Library. A team of ten members takes turns creating these designs throughout the year, brightening the space for staff and patrons alike.

Zebulon Nature Trail
Established in 1998, our Nature Trail is a key ongoing project that links the Zebulon Community Center to the Zebulon Community Park. It features a Butterfly Garden and a Pollinator Garden full of native plants and wildflowers. In 2016, these gardens were named a stop on the NC Butterfly Highway!

The Blue Star Memorial Garden
On June 11, 2021, we completed a two-year effort to place a Blue Star Memorial Garden at Zebulon Town Hall to honor all those who have served in the armed forces. We continue to maintain the memorial site with themed plantings and conduct wreath-laying ceremonies on Veterans Day and Independence Day.

Annual Plant Sale
Our annual plant sale is a beloved tradition and the financial heart of our service projects. We gather, pot, and sell plants from members' gardens to the public. The funds raised help us create beautiful community spaces and support our projects.

Zebulon Downtown Beautification
Since 2021, we’ve partnered with the Zebulon Woman's Club to beautify downtown. We maintain two of the vibrant planters throughout the business district by updating them seasonally to add a welcoming burst of color to the heart of town.

Zebulon Chamber of Commerce
In 2021, the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce reached out to us for help updating the plantings around their building. We continue to provide guidance and plants for the front entry and surrounding areas.
